She is new to these surroundings, the culture, the language. The only thing familiar is the song her blade sings.

Discovered in the cargo hold of a pirated merchant ship, the bandits thought to make her work for the port towns brothels, but they were quickly overcome. Memories are fleeting, only quick glances at an uncertain past she begins her search, and tries to stave the hunger for unbridled carnage her sword(later dubed Chigaeru), yearns for.

"Nanka", the only word that she could properly pronounce, was mistaken for her name so she runs with it. Her naivety with the culture and her few spoken words often lead many to think her slow, or ditsy, but her steely resolve in a fight earns her the respect she demands from her few friends and compatriots. She makes due as a traveling entertainer, dazzling crowds of onlookers with her displays of "magic" and dance, but most of her earnings come from the bandits/mercenaries that are foolish enough to cross swords with her.

She likes sweets. You won't find her without a bag full of them on her person at all times.



A quick glance at her stats might throw you off because she seems much "larger" in certain areas. All her secondary weapons and tools are hidden in pockets that are strapped to her body in strategic places that allow easy access.
